Love this! And love the image style you've developed! AI Meets Girlboss's Distinctiveness Test was really helpful for my brand too! And I love Dallas' watercolour images too!
What a very cool journey, Karen. I love how many of us got inspired, set out to create some cool images to throw up and suddenly we're super deep into a huge overhaul of our very existence on Substack.
I am really happy to be connected with you now! Your brand turned out beautiful. Before I even read the story behind it, I could sense there was some serious thought, care and clarity that came before it. The caterpillar soup phase is an important one! π
Your advice about writing for the one person whose pain point you're solving is something I needed to hear. I'm such a tinkerer, a tester, a "just try it!" kind of gal... but I need that reminder to stay anchored. Plus, writing for that "one person" makes it feel a lot less daunting, more focused and more achievable :)
Thank you and thank you for reading it, Natalie! Iβm glad those parts resonated with you. My mom had read the last post and actually made her first AI picture ever of βcaterpillar soup.β It was hilarious!

Caitlin, your work is terrific. I think you and Dallas just need to make a bunch of βshortsβ we can all watch while we are learning.
Thanks, Karen! βΊοΈ and ooh that would be fun! Dallas could bring the beach vibes, I can bring the cozy village vibes! π
Ooh now we could have some fun here!
You reverse engineered my image?! Wow, that blows me away π«¨π€©

Your new cyanotypes obsession sounds divine!! π©·
Right? Iβll send you the reverse engineer results. But, yeah. I did that! And thank you so much for that inspiration!

Ah, what an incredible first AI picture! ππ if you ever dig it up and your mom would be comfortable sharing, I would love to see it!
Your brand is everything, it literally gives me Snowpiercer vibes and that's a compliment haha.
Also haha the "feedback is a gift" mantra... been there. It's a gift until it's not π
So true. Pretty sure. Kept getting told that when it didnβt feel like a giftβ¦ π€£ Haha Smowpiercer! Love it.
Putting out these posts is like birthing babies. I laughed out so loud! Your branding story is a journey you weren't planning on going on but I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful and recognizable ones I've seen. Now, next step is a storyline! ππ©·π¦©
Your branding is so great that I canβt go anywhere and see a pink flamingo and not think of you. And how happy it makes me feel. THAT, my friend, is branding. π¦©
Hahaha, thank you! Honored to be remembered by flamingos.π©·π¦©π
